Wordle: Nice visualization tool for text content

Just discovered this neat online tool called Wordle (thanks to Sarah Cummings for posting it on the KM4Dev.org network!). It's a visualization tool for any kind of text content. You can use it to visualise whole documents, short texts like poems or lyrics, websites and even your del.icio.us tags. As the website of Wordle states, the tools is meant to "generat 'word clouds' from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like."
See below an example of the tag cloud that is generated for this blog. You can see, that the prominent "Web" word should actually be "Web 2.0", but apart from that minor flaw, I really like it!

Nice to see you so enthusiastic about the tool. I also had the same enthusiasm as soom as I tried it out. I too was thinking about how it seperates words and I was thinking that I would join phrases together either with a hypen or by search and find when using the text of my own documents (if you understand what I mean). For example, Web2.0 would not be too terrible in an image, not would knowledgemanagement. I've used it for IKM but also for song texts which you can see at http://thegravity.wordpress.com/lyrics which I thought were really fabulous images.

I was recently reviewing a number of texts which my organization collected from past projects and initiatives (some through an internal mandatory monitoring tool, others gathered as part of After Action Reviews or Lessons Learned Papers), which all meant to capture ‘lessons learned’ from specific experiences.
